Where can I find accessibility information?

Here’s a helpful link regarding accessibility: https://cgwc.org/accessibility/ — If you have further questions or would like clarification, please feel free to give us a call.

APPOINTMENT BOOKINGS:

I booked a 60 minute massage but the appointment length is 90 minutes. Why and will I be charged for 90 minutes? When should my soak start if I am booking bathhouse time afterwards?

You will only be charged for the actual massage session length. The extra time at the end includes room turn-over and practitioner rest time. You can book a soak immediately after your 60 minute session ends.

How do I book soaking sessions for more than 1 person?

Call us directly for help booking multiple bathhouse sessions at the same time. If you are booking online, reserve as many soak appointments as you need under your name and enter your guests’ names and phone numbers in the notes section. Groups of 7 or more guests are required to reserve a Private Party.

Do I need reservations for soaking?

Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, so we do recommend making reservations in advance for busier times such as weekends, evenings or anytime during the winter months.

What is your cancellation policy and why are credit cards required for reservations?

Bodywork Cancellation Policy: 100% of the session price is charged if cancelled, rescheduled or "no-showed" less than 48 hours from the appointment start time. Individual practitioners may consider a fee reduction on a case-by-case basis. We understand that unforeseen circumstances do occur, yet wish to honor the time reserved for you and our practitioners. Appointments are transferable if someone is available to take your scheduled appointment.

Bath House Cancellation Policy: Please notify us at least 2 hours prior to your booking, otherwise 50% of your bathhouse service price will be charged for all no-show appointments. If we do not hear from you and you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be forfeited to allow space for others. If you need to cancel or are running late please notify us at (503) 238-1065. Choose Extension 1 for same-day appointments. If we are unable to answer your phone call a voicemail or text is sufficient notification.

What if I’m running late?

If you are running late for a soaking session, we always appreciate a call to let us know. When clients are late to practitioner sessions, this is handled on a case by case basis and will often result in a shortened session time.

When clients are late for bathhouse appointments, we will adjust the start time whenever possible when we receive notification. If the bathhouse is at capacity, your appointment will be forfeited if you do not arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled start time.

Is a soak included with my massage?

Bathhouse time is not included with practitioner sessions, but can be added and paid for separately. We are happy to book soaks before, after, or both before and after wellness sessions.

Do you offer couples massages?

While we do not offer massages in the same room, we can book two massage sessions at the same time; an excellent addition to that offering would be for you to schedule time in the bathhouse together.

BATHHOUSE:

Since you are clothing optional, are most people nude or in bathing suits?

It depends on the day, time, and patrons. There's typically always a mixture of both, and we always encourage folks to soak however they feel most comfortable.

Do you still offer free birthday soaks?

We do not currently offer free birthday soaks to non-members, but would be honored to have you here on your special day.

What does my bathhouse time include?

Bathhouse sessions include use of our outdoor courtyard, as well as our locker room and shower facilities. In the courtyard you have access to our dry cedar sauna, cold waterfall shower, large communal salt water soaking tub, and an outdoor seating area.Your soaking appointment time is inclusive of shower and changing time. We ask you pick up your ID at the end of your scheduled soak session.

What is the temperature of the pool? Sauna? How deep is the pool?

The pool temperature is about 103 degrees fahrenheit and the sauna is typically around 185 degrees fahrenheit. The water is 3 to 4 feet deep.

Are children and families welcome in the bathhouse?

Yes! Common Ground is a space for all ages, including youth and children. Children under 18 receive a half-priced rate, while children under 2 can soak for free.
