Meet Jennifer Benton, PT, CCRT, CPCFT
Background: Having worked in the physical therapy field for over 25 years, Jennifer has a broad background with experience in outpatient, inpatient, neurologic, orthopedic, and home health settings.
Jennifer saw people being discharged from therapy services before they were truly better. Starting her own concierge physical therapy business in 2014 allowed her to focus on providing the care that her clients deserve — high-quality, personalized treatment that takes the whole person into account.
In recent years, her work has focused on pain reduction through manual techniques, facilitating optimal muscle function after injuries/surgeries, and scar tissue release.
Treatment Philosophy: Jennifer strives to provide care in an open, comfortable, and safe environment. Services are delivered with sensitivity, patience, and professionalism. Sessions progress at your pace and with your input.
She believes that everyone’s body is unique and takes the time to figure out what makes each body different. A combination of modern and traditional techniques are used to explore what has created your current symptoms and to unravel your compensation patterns. The result is a body that is more physically resilient.
As a member of your healthcare team, Jennifer will partner with your existing support systems (doctors, chiropractors, pilates instructors, pickleball coaches, massage therapists, etc.) to create a cohesive team approach.
Treatment sessions: Your care is based on a thorough review of your medical history. Old, overlooked injuries and surgeries often feed into current problems.
A detailed head-to-toe physical assessment and gait analysis are preformed.
Sessions are then tailored to each body’s individual needs. Interventions are a combination of traditional physical therapy techniques, Neurokinetic Therapy®, McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release®, myofascial release, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education.
Clients leave empowered with useful home programs that will help them to return to the activities that they love.
Sessions typically occur 1-4 times per month depending on client preference.
