I believe that compassionate therapeutic touch is the cornerstone of good health. I was first licensed in 2013, but my introduction to massage came long before any formal training. I grew up with an LMT mother and learned the sense for touch at an early age. For over 7 years I have held a practice in Portland, honing my skills and serving the community. My style is typically grounded in deep tissue but well informed by shiatsu, myofascial, trigger point therapies. I also offer a table form of shiatsu, cupping, and gua sha. My aim is to listen to the body and proceed with awareness and appropriate pressure.
More recently I have stepped into practicing a postural therapy modality called Egoscue. Egoscue is an exercise-based approach to postural realignment and pain management. Sessions include a detailed intake and assessment that will allow me to tailor specific exercises to each individual, followed by personalized guidance through the series. One should expect benefits after a single session; however, consistency is key, and follow-ups help to determine efficacy and progression so they are strongly encouraged. The goal is a pain-free life, and it is possible! Egoscue is also excellent for those seeking to up their physical game, whether it be sports or managing a long day at the office, we can all learn to move through life with ease and precision.
People are my passion. I strive to serve and help each client find a sense of peace, relaxation, and comfort in their being. I am because you are.
